- The objective of these current Sales Conditions is to define the politics of ticket sales for performances of the Madeira Classical Orchestra;
- Madeira Classical Orchestra reserves the right to alter the current sales conditions without prior warning. Any alterations will be publicised on the orchestra’s website

- Some concerts may be subject to different conditions as stipulated by the performance venue. In these cases, the conditions should be consulted through the concert venue. This is the case regarding concerts performed in Reid’s Palace* and at the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias*.

*Tickets for concerts at Reid’s Palace and the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias can only be purchased at the concert venue. However, tickets for concerts at the Theatre may also be purchased through Ticketline.

User's and promoter obligations

Both user and promoter agree to fulfill and respect the current sales conditions of the the online ticket sales (Bilheteira OCM), namely:
1) To refrain from introducing, storing or sharing content which is defamatory, obscene, hurtful, xenophobic and/or of any other nature that violates the general principals of public rights and order;
2) To save, and not share, your entry password for the site in order to prevent third persons from accessing your login account;
3) Not to use fake identities;
4) To provide correct personal details so that Madeira Classical Orchestra can correctly process sales.

Madeira Classical Orchestra reserves the right to eliminate any user account which does not adheer to these conditions.

Availability and ticket sales

Tickets are available through:
- The WebSite (until the day before the concert):

- At the concert venue (only on the day of the concert): ticket sales for Tutti orchestra

Concerts begin two (2) hours before the concert, and for chamber music concerts one (1) hour before the concert.

Price and number of tickets

- Ticket prices are given and paid for in euros;
- A maximum of one (1) ticket may be purchased with each login;

Purchases on https://www.ocmadeira.pt/en/ — may be made using the following means of payment:

Ticket delivery

The user will receive their electronic tickets (PDF document sent via email) after payment is validated. The user may print the ticket in advance or present it in digital form at the entrance of the performance.
Duplicates will not be issued, even in the case of lost/stolen tickets.

Validation of tickets is controlled and registered at the entrance of the event.

Cancelations, exchanges and refunds

Tickets aquired in the Madeira Classical Orchestra Ticket Office will not be refunded.
In the case of a concert venue, time and/or date being altered, or if the performance is interrupted, the Madeira Classical Orchestra does not assume any obligation to refund the price of the ticket. However, there is the possibility of this ticket being used for up to sixty (60) days after the cancelled event to attend another concert. In these cases, the user should contact the sales service to guarantee their place in another concert of their choice (excluding the New Years’ Day concert). Should a concert be interrupted due to force majeure (Act of God), there will be no refund for the value of the ticket. In applicable legal terms, an Act of God includes unforeseen circumstances that cause e
ffects independent of the will of the concert promoter; namely fires, floods, cyclones, earth tremors and other natural causes that directly impede the completion of the performance. In no case will there be refunds, reimbursements, or payment of any expenses or damages.

I bought my tickets online and haven’t received an e-mail. What should I do?

We suggest that you check your spam and/or trash folder and any secondary email account. If you still can’t find our e-mail, it may be due to an issue regarding the processing of payment, frequently related to bank card security processes. If you still have difficulties you can contact us through the available methods.

Are there any applicable discounts on purchasing tickets?

Yes. Please consult the price list for members and for non members. There's a possibility to have discounts in our tickets. To know more details of this opportunity, we please ask you to go directly to Gaudeamus store or at the concert venue on the day of the concert.

If a concert is cancelled or postponed, will I be refunded?

In no case will there be refunds, reimbursements, or payment of any expenses or damages. In the case of a concert venue, time and/or date being altered, or if the performance is interrupted, the Madeira Classical Orchestra does not assume any obligation to refund the price of the ticket. However, there is the possibility of this ticket being used for up to sixty (60) days after the cancelled event to attend another concert. I bought tickets for a concert, but I can no longer attend. Is it possible to ask for a refund?

No. However, It's possible to exchange the ticket for another concert whose ticket has the same or greater value.
